Be the first generation to end extreme poverty, the most determined generation to end inequality and injustice and the last generation to be threatened by climate change.
The Real Estate firm of Mills Realty has decided to make every purchase a sustainable one with its Sustainable Purchase Program. The program intends to combat the problems we face in our communities and around the planet. The program is based on 17 Goals, the triple bottom line, and the 5p model. The program will provide the funding needed to fuel capital into programs that need it very badly to grow their programs.Programs that qualify are nonprofits, churches, Mosques, Synagogues, Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs), youth sports teams, and children programs.
Sustainable development, Sustainability, aka being green is a concept most businesses are already aware of within the communities. The amount of capital businesses put into the system has very little effect of making an exorbitant impact. To make a sustainable impact, businesses must realize that they are the foundation of the community. If the world is to make a difference, all businesses must stand up to be the pillars of the community. There is an old Hip Hop acronym saying “C.R.E.A.M Cash, Rules, Everything, Around Me. this can not be farther from the truth. If businesses are the economic backbone of the community and the central base where money is traded for goods and services, then the businesses are the most critical element to push the communities in a sustainable direction. Mills Realty has made a choice to lead the charge with a 20% donation to sustainable programs in the community and worldwide.
The Mills Realty Sustainability Purchase Program has a unique aspect to it inn the area of capital donations. Compared to the 1% – 6% that businesses donate to overall programs, some having nothing to do with sustainability at all, Mills Realty has pushed the bar to 20% donations to only sustainable programs. The program is launched in the Chicagoland area headquartered in the Rogers Park Evanston area. Members can choose the program of their choice or even donate to their church, mosque, synagogue or community children programs. What makes this program different is that the donations can range into the tens of thousands based on the deal.
The Sustainable Purchase Program Mission is to make every purchase a sustainable for the purpose of achieving the 17 Sustainability Goals. The sustainable; it Goals simplifies the aims that need to be concentrated on which are the 17 Sustainability Goals shown in the
